The Association of Persons Affected by Extension of the motorway Chapela held its annual general meeting in the Multipurpose Chapela and adopted a schedule of demonstrations to express rejection to neighborhood plans by the Ministry of Development.

For those affected, the statements of local politicians as Emilio Iglesias, mayor of Town Planning and autonomous Redondela as Touriño and Caride are inconsistent and untrue as is managing the Ministry of Development. Those affected feel that the statements of these politicians are only intended to calm the neighbors to the proximity of the elections in Galicia and even misleading to divide the collective Chapela.

The President of the Association of People Affected by the Assembly outlined the steps taken since the Association was formed last November 2008 and generated documentation and actions carried out, without ignoring the obstacles to access information and technical team editor of Urban General Plan.
